The Bridge Group had been accredited as a Living Wage Employer

The Bridge Group is delighted to share that we are now an accredited Living Wage Employer, meaning that every member of our staff earns a real Living Wage. The Bridge Group is now one of more than 16,000 organisations that voluntarily choose to pay the real Living Wage.
The real Living Wage is higher than both the government’s legal minimum or the National Living Wage. Instead, the real Living Wage is an independently calculated rate of pay that is based on the actual cost of living. It is calculated annually by the Resolution Foundation and is overseen by the Living Wage Commission, and is based on evidence about living standards in London and the UK. In 2025, we are ensuring that every member of our team earns at least £12.60 per hour across the UK and £13.85 per hour in London.
Having a real Living Wage has an impact on responsible business strategies, on reducing in-work poverty and enriching lives. Research by the Living Wage Foundation shows that:
In 2024, 15.7% of jobs (4.5 million jobs) were classified as low-paid, meaning they offered wages below the real Living Wage. Between 2023 and 2024 there was the largest annual rise in both the number and the proportion of low-paid jobs since this time series began in 2012.
The majority of low-paid workers (81%) think that moving to a Living Wage would have a positive impact on their quality of life (2025).
Jobs held by women account for almost 60% of all jobs paid below the Living Wage (2022).
94% of Living Wage Employers have benefited since accrediting. The Living Wage movement has had a significant positive impact on low paid employees in the UK, and modest, mostly positive effects on employers (2025, research undertaken with Cardiff Business School).
Gaining this accreditation reinforces the Bridge Group’s commitment to creating a positive workplace that values and supports our employees. But it also demonstrates alignment with our mission to make a real and lasting impact on socio-economic diversity and social equality, since a Living Wage enables people to focus on professional growth without the burden of financial stress; a fairer labour market for all.
We hope that our decision to become accredited by the Living Wage Foundation will inspire our clients and other stakeholders to consider the positive impact fair wages can have on their organisations.
