New Bridge Group CEO, Jenny Baskerville, begins her role

30 April 2025

The Bridge Group is thrilled to announce that Jenny Baskerville, the Bridge Group’s new Chief Executive has started her role at the charity this week.

Jenny joins us from KPMG UK, where she was formerly Head of Social Mobility and then Director and Head of Inclusion, Diversity and Equity. You can read more on Jenny’s background as a highly respected leader in social equality and inclusion, alongside comments on the appointment from Bridge Group trustees and Jenny herself in our previous news story here.

Jenny added:

“I am delighted to have got started with the Bridge Group - a charity I have long admired, having benefited at KPMG from their robust research and practical recommendations. It has been a privilege meeting with both clients and collaborators in these first few days and I look forward to crafting the next chapter for the Bridge Group alongside brilliant colleagues and Trustees.”

Jenny joins at a time of significant change as the charity grows both its reach and impact. Her expertise, experience and commitment will be invaluable as we continue to shape the organisation in a rapidly evolving environment. We will be recruiting new staff and trustees later this year to join Jenny and the rest of the staff as part of our strategy for growth. Additionally, the year 2025 will be a busy one, as we celebrate the tenth anniversary since the Bridge Group registered as a charity and became a non-profit consultancy dedicated to using independent research as a catalyst for evidence-based social change.

Jenny replaces Nik Miller, who was also a co-founder of the Bridge Group. Nik has written a blog on his reflections as he steps down after a decade as CEO, not only on the journey the organisation has taken, but on the moment we find ourselves in. You can read Nik’s blog here.
