Bridge Group celebrates 10 years of using research to promote social equality

Join us as we mark 10 years since we registered as a charity

We’ll be celebrating over the next 12 months

Sixteen years ago, six volunteers resolved to stop discussing social equality, and to do something about it. The result was the Bridge Group, which convened researchers and expert practitioners to inform policy papers.

Then in June 2015, the Bridge Group registered as a charity and became a non-profit consultancy dedicated to using independent research as a catalyst for evidence-based social change. We are celebrating the tenth anniversary of this during the next 12 months.

Anniversary blogs

“The Bridge Group exists because opportunity should be earned, not inherited – and because evidence, when used well, can build a world where more people realise their potential.”

Celebratory event

On 25 November, the Bridge Group was overjoyed to be joined by our most valued clients, funders, partners, trustees and staff to celebrate ten years since we registered as a charity.

Slaughter and May generously hosted the evening at their offices in London, in which our inspirational speakers so concisely expressed our collective need to extend the benefits of socio-economic inclusion even further. The message was clear: “The world needs more Bridge Group!”

You can read the report that was launched on the evening ‘Turning evidence into opportunity’ and view a selection of the photographs here.
