New report is launched: 'Celebrating ten years of the Bridge Group'

Turning evidence into opportunity

26 November 2025

The Bridge Group is delighted to launch a new report, summarising the past ten years of our work as an independent research charity promoting socio-economic inclusion through evidence, insight and collaboration. We present case studies from across the years, summarise impact statistics and data snapshots, and highlight how you can join us in shaping the next decade of evidence-led change.

Chair of the Board of Trustees, Hephzibah Adeosun, said:

“Our anniversary is a time to celebrate the past and look ahead, especially at this critical moment when social mobility in the UK is at its lowest in over 50 years. This urgent national context underscores why this work, guided by robust evidence, has never been more vital.”

Jenny Baskerville, Chief Executive of the Bridge Group, said:

“Ten years ago, the Bridge Group was founded on the conviction that evidence must drive social change. The central truth we’ve learned from a decade of pioneering research and collaboration is stark: socio-economic background remains the greatest predictor of opportunity, often affecting access and progression in the workplace more acutely than other factors. This report celebrates a journey defined by turning data-led insights into meaningful change.”

Celebrating ten years of the Bridge Group in London

On 25 November, the Bridge Group was overjoyed to be joined by our most valued clients, funders, partners, trustees and staff to celebrate ten years since we registered as a charity. Generously hosted by Slaughter and May, the event reinforced our collective need to extend the benefits of socio-economic inclusion even further.

A key message to emerge from the evening was “The world needs more Bridge Group.”

We will soon be sharing photos from the event. In the meantime you can watch a short video below with messages from two of our co-founders, Anthony Dursi and Tessa Stone.
